Fabulous Garden from It's Complicated
I recently went and saw It's Complicated with Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin. There is a particular scene where they are sort of dancing around in conversation in the garden and I was soaking the wonderful space in.
I just love the look of the garden. I could have sworn their were white rose bushes around the outside but I am not seeing them in these images. I found these wonderful images from a posting about the garden on the blog Remodelista.
I also found one more image on the Balitmore Sun web site.
My neighbor Holly is going to get super inspired when she sees these images. She just loves her Garden. I am hoping to expand my garden this year.
My Table - Deerful Delight
This week's contribution to my Flickr group 64 Colors. This weeks color is sepia, thought all the deer on my table were Sepia-ish.

Birthday Party Ideas
I am putting together some ideas for my daughter's upcoming 5th birthday. So far I am liking Alice in Wonderland theme.
Here are some visuals of what I am liking so far.
I just dicovered a great new site for event planning from my fabulous neighbor Holly, called Lollipop events and designs. Man, they do gorgeous work. I would love to do event planning with them. I love their Wonderlandia table show above. I love the tall stack of cups. I also love an idea I saw on Design*Sponge of incorporating spirographs, these kidohs need an activity to do with all their tea drinking.

Brooch Bouquets
I came across these great photos in one of my favorite friend's giac1061 on Flickr photostream. She archives a lot of great party ideas she comes across. I love the idea of using old brooches as a flower bouquet. I think this would look cool in a vase too.

Tendliving | Eco Gardens
I recently found an old schoolfriend from Hawaii, Britton Neubacher, on facebook and found out that she is up to wonderful things. I love her sense of Modern Design and the fun she is having with interiorscaping. She has done some wonderful living walls, wall bubbles and hanging spheres. All of her projects are eco friendly and just delightful.
She has a wonderful site called Tendliving. Check it out when you get a chance. Lots of great plant eye candy.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
On a whim my son Dylan and I snuck off to see the movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. I really had not heard too much about it but was intrigued with the title. I watched the trailer and it all clicked. This was Heath Ledger's last role.
I absolutely thought the sets and imagery in this movie were amazing.
One of my favorite scenes was the water lily scene where they are swimming through the lilies. I wanted to paint it immediately.
I also was in awe of the monastery where you see the elephants and they pan up to the buddha like figure and with the lotus.
The gypsy trailer was just so wonderful as well I loved the marquee and banners.
I also loved how they all wore so many layers and the kimono robes were just gorgeous.
I very much enjoyed the movie. Go see it.
