Vanillawood - Design Build Live

I was reading the Interior Design Blog and came across a new post about Portland's Vanillawood. I love how the name invokes a smell. I love the concept they are doing of being a one stop design studio with a focus on bringing eco design style to people. We have a store in Orange County that has some similarities to this concept called The Road Less Traveled. I can appreciate the modern style of Vanillawood. They definitely have a good eye. Vanillawood offers a design-friendly inventory of fabrics, wallpaper, lighting, mirrors, rugs, and objects for sale. While there, visitors can also check out their custom upholstery, furniture, and built-in cabinetry offerings in which the couple specializes.

Fabulous Offices | Papaya!

I just love this pink office from the girls at Papaya. Since Ginger is such a big fan of the color pink I have actually started to love pink again. Decor8 did a wonderful post about the Papaya offices read it here. If you haven't heard of Papaya, you have surely seen there great designs around. Papaya has a great blog here too. My favorite piece in the room is the great desk that papaya created. I love the pattern the CNC'D into the wood panels. Great Job Papaya.

Cool Tool Boxes

I just love these toolboxes by Alice Supply Co. Maria & Raili thought it would be great to take typically mudane household tools and give them a dose of color and pattern. The two started the company that is based out of Chino, CA and decided to give the name a nostalgic nod to the Brady's Bunch's witty housekeeper, Alice. How could one not want to clean with these fabulous looking tools.

How gorgeous are these new rugs by Amy Butler. I just love her style. She has 19 new designs. The rugs are made from 100% New Zealand Wool, they are hand made and semi-sustainable using no harsh chemical washes, the industries safest chrome dyes and natural latex adhesive.
